THE STORY OF OC CLIMATE VOTER GUIDE

Orange County needs climate champions.

More than two-thirds of climate pollution comes from cities, and voters want elected officials who will act on climate, but many people don't vote in their local elections because they don't know where local candidates stand on climate.  Especially in city councils, school boards, and other local elections.

OC is the 6th-largest economy in the US, and this year OC is once again, "the center of the political universe," according to political pundits and national news media.  What happens here is very important.

In August and September 2022, a group of OC climate activists got together and created surveys to create a 2022 Climate Voter Guide for every local OC election.

Our goal is to get representatives who will use the many policy tools available to them to help stop the climate crisis. And hopefully we will educate the rest of the candidates along the way.
